MGH Biomedical Engineering offers two highly specialized Prototyping and Fabrication Facilities that provide custom designs and tooling to meet the needs of researchers and clinicians within Partners Healthcare.

Currently we have two completely tooled shops to provide the services our customers need. One is located at Massachusetts General Hospital, in the Ruth Sleeper Hall basement, Room 070 (click here for map). The other shop is located on the main campus of Brigham and Women's Hospital in the basement of the Peter Bent Brigham building, Room 011. Whether you need a specialized equipment transfer system in the ICU, or a custom chamber for your research lab, we have the experience, professionalism, and attention to detail to deliver the product to your specifications.


Our staff of professional machinists has over 120 combined years of experience in the manufacturing of custom tools and fixturing for researchers and clinicians.
