BWH says good-bye to Evelyn Fan and Nalini Dora, both clinical engineers who left the department to attend nursing school. We wish them both the best in their new careers.
BWH welcomes new Clinical Engineer, Kevin Kreitzman, who began working with BWH Biomed on the Support team on June 1st. A graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Engineering, Kevin comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and a willingness to learn.
Massachusetts General Hospital
MGH welcomes four new summer CE interns from the University of Toronto Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering Clinical Engineering Program. They will be with us for a four-month internship.
Melissa Griffin and Stephanie Liddle will be helping us with a few different projects this summer, including B3C, location tracking technologies, equipment management committee, and our ongoing clinical engineering work. They are sitting in RSH 390 and will likely spend some time on Ellison 3 as well.
Melanie Yeung and Sarah Rothwell will be doing projects and support work within MGH Anesthesia Clinical Engineering/ DACC Clinical IT Systems/ and the Sims Lab as a partial requirement for their Master's degree in Clinical Engineering, which they are both completing in September.
