Integral to the growth of Biomedical Engineering is Clinical Engineering. We are at the forefront of an array of initiatives
to support our hospitals. Working in close
partnership with doctors, nurses and other
caregivers, we’re building new buildings,
refining today's medical devices and developing
new medical technologies to meet tomorrow’s
needs — with patient safety as our highest priority.
We have two levels of career development for Clinical Engineers - Clinical Engineer and Senior Clinical Engineer. A Bachelor's degree in engineering with suitable work experience is needed; Master's degree is helpful. Hospital experience is also preferred; but we will train smart, creative candidates with appropriate experience in other engineering fields and a commitment to healthcare. Project management experience and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Positions are full time, located in Boston and will be either at MGH or BWH.
