BP4BP Award Recipients 2009

BP4BP Awards Recipients 2009
Congratulations to the 2009 Yearly Outstanding Award Winners!

Objective: Awards are used to honor an individual’s or team’s commitment to excellence and dedication to the PBME mission throughout the year. The nominees constantly strive and succeed in meeting the Outstanding Employee criteria, which includes above and beyond customer service, quality of work, team work, production/operations, and safety.

Process: Nominatees are reviewed and evaluated by a BP4BP subgroup using a metric based on the six criteria.

OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR- MGH
Bob Ribiero

Bob’s work has been nothing short of amazing this year. He has managed to handle the usual significant amount of work in the Model Shop, in addition to major equipment redesigns, and other emergency projects that unexpectedly appeared this year. All this while being short-staffed! Bob is reliable, consistent, goes above and beyond the call of duty, keeps safety in mind at all times, and always has his eye on improving ideas.

Also nominated: Rob Carruth, Maximo Nicolas

OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR- BWH
Anthony Johnson

Anthony’s nomination included how Anthony takes initiative and improves existing processes, as well as many anecdotes about how he has gone above and beyond throughout the year. The nominator felt the Outstanding Employee of the year Award was the least Anthony should get for his hard work throughout the year.

Also nominated: Wesley Ramkissoon, Richard Pelletier

OUTSTANDING TEAM OF THE YEAR - MGH
ED Resource Team: Caitlin Fairneny & Richard Simon

The Biomed ED support team performs extraordinarily high quality work in a collaborative manner to ensure a safe patient care environment in the ED. Team members have proven to be responsive, considerate, customer service oriented and committed to doing whatever they can to improve biomedical engineering services in the ED. We appreciate their ongoing support and dedication, and truly feel they are a critical part of our ED team.

Also nominated: Danvers ACC Support Team - Mary Skipper and Greg Sampson.

There were no nominations for OUTSTANDING TEAM OF THE YEAR AT BWH.
